Multiplication quiz
Mix any times tables you like into one ten-question quiz. No timer, no countdown, and anything you get wrong comes straight back for practice.
Which tables?
Choose at least one table first.
The quiz needs JavaScript switched on. You can still read the whole table above — it works everywhere.
How this quiz works
Each question is drawn at random from the tables you picked, and no fact repeats within a round. You type the answer rather than choosing from options, because recalling a number is a genuinely different skill from recognising it.
Get one wrong and the correct answer appears straight away, next to the sum, so the right version is the last thing seen. At the end you can practise only the facts you missed — which is usually two or three, not the whole table.
Answers are remembered in this browser so the site can work out which facts are still shaky. Nothing is uploaded anywhere.
Questions parents ask
How long does the multiplication quiz take?
Ten questions, so about a minute or two. There is no timer and no countdown — children answer at whatever pace suits them, which keeps the focus on getting it right rather than getting it fast.
Which times tables should we choose?
Start with the ones being learned at school right now. If that is unclear, 2, 5 and 10 are the usual first three, then 3, 4 and 8, and finally 6, 7, 9 and 12 which are the hardest.
What happens to the questions we get wrong?
They are shown again at the end with the right answers, and there is a button to practise just those facts. Nothing is lost and there is no score to feel bad about.
Do we need to sign up to use the quiz?
No. There is no account, no email and no login anywhere on this site. Progress is stored only in your own browser, and clearing your browser data removes it.
